When did you start living the healthy lifestyle and why did you choose to do so?

I started my journey during the summer of 2012 when I hit my all time highest weight of 180 lbs. I’m not exactly sure what triggered the sudden need to improve myself but it happened and here I am today! Of course I was a ‘yo-yo’ dieter and could never stay focused enough to continue the lifestyle. I would lose the weight and got comfortable to where I stopped eating clean and working out. Not this time though!

 When did you decide to compete?

I never even considered competing, actually never even really knew anything about. When I first started working out in 2012, I had hired a trainer at my gym and she introduced me into the ‘stage life’. From that moment on I knew I wanted to compete and fell in love with the whole sport. It’s not easy, that’s for sure though!

 What shows have you done and how did you place?

I have not competed.

 What motivates you?

I want to be comfortable in my own skin! I want the confidence I once had before certain tragedies happened…

What is your favorite exercise?

I love leg day! lol

 Who are your role models?

I actually don’t have one role model or a certain person that comes to mind. I consider each and every person who has struggled with their weight and has been able to make such a huge improvement to be my role models! Ones who understands what it’s like to make a complete 180 to improve their health.
