When did you start living the healthy lifestyle and why did you choose to do so?
I dropped 3 clothing sizes when I first came to the US 11 years ago. I wanted to maintain my weight loss and started eating healthy and working out. When I started my degree in Exercise Science and became a Personal Trainer, I became even more serious about living a healthy lifestyle, especially since my clients look to me for support and advice. I want to practice what I preach.
When did you decide to compete?
About a year and a half ago, but being in school fulltime and working fulltime I had to put the training off a bit.
What shows have you done and how did you place?
Training for my first show.
What motivates you?
My clients. Seeing how hard they work, especially the ones that have chronic conditions, make me want to work harder and be better.
What is your favorite healthy recipe (can you provide the recipe below)?
Avocado Chocolate Pudding (beats any chocolate cravings)
1-2 small ripe avocados
1 small banana (optional)
Raw cocoa powder
Agave syrup or honey to sweeten (optional)
Smash the avocado and banana. Add the other ingredients and blend until smooth.
Cool in fridge. ENJOY!

My parents. I adore and highly respect them and the life they’ve lived.
